The hotel rooms were good-sized, clean, and comfortable, although a bit of a strange smell lingered. The service was helpful and friendly, especially when our son was sick, and available both in the morning and late in the evening. I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had a radiator to dry my clothes, but they were not made up during my 2-night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially after 7 pm. The location was convenient with breathtaking views of Mount Cook but a bit far from the town center. The dining options were available but seemed pricey. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
